A single source of truth

In today’s health environments, data is often fragmented across multiple systems, formats and organizations. Orchestral unifies this complexity into a single, coherent source of truth. Through its health-native design, the platform consolidates, standardizes and enriches data, ensuring that every stakeholder has access to trusted, consistent information.

The Health Data Model

At the heart of Orchestral’s platform lies the Health Data Model, an open, extensible model built specifically for healthcare. It allows data from any source (including FHIR HL7, CCD, CSV and more) to be ingested, validated, and standardized.

Through fully configurable ingest pipelines, the platform captures raw data, validates it, and transforms it into high-quality, contextualized information. Whether the data comes from hospitals, payers, labs, community care providers or public health sources, it is consolidated into a unified record that supports both operational and strategic goals.

Once processed, data is stored within the Health Data Model, which organizes it into specialist subject domains such as Party, Provenance, Consent, Service Delivery, and Finding. This logical structuring supports not only compliance and governance, but also analytics, research and AI-driven insights. This removes the need for costly integrations or duplicated mapping efforts across systems, and the logical organization makes it easier to find, relate and report on data across the entire continuum of care.

Interface with any system, app, or platform

Orchestral is designed to be highly interoperable, enabling seamless integration with client systems, applications, devices and analytics platforms. This is achieved through robust platform APIs, which are built to be extendable to customer-specific needs.

Platform APIs include:

  • Write API – asynchronous data input.

  • Search API – synchronous, paginated data queries.

  • Get API – synchronous data retrieval.

  • Event Subscription API – publish/subscribe for event-driven workflows.

  • Bulk API – data extracts for large-scale operations.

These APIs connect to the core enablers:

  • Health Data Model – unified, canonical source of information.

  • Data Lake – raw data and advanced processing.

  • Orchestral IQ – AI platform for advanced analytics and model integration.

Supports any client use case

Whether you are connecting devices, browsers, apps, enterprise systems, or analytics tools, Orchestral enables full interaction through its flexible architecture.

Client systems interface with Orchestral via:

  • App clients and app services.

  • Third-party systems via standard integration services.

  • AI agents through dedicated agent integration services.

This means Orchestral can support custom-built applications, off-the-shelf solutions, and future innovations without changing its core – thanks to a separation between core and custom content. Customers extend the platform rather than modify it, ensuring smooth upgrades and ongoing stability.

AI-ready and 360° insight

Because Orchestral consolidates all data into a unified model, it powers AI tools with the clean, high-quality data they require. This enables a 360° view of patients, populations, or demographics, unlocking insights that drive better outcomes, care coordination, and system-level improvements.

Future-proof integration model

Every element of the platform has been designed to evolve with your needs:

  • Client systems and services are easily extended via the API layer.

  • Core updates are safe and non-disruptive to custom content.

  • Modern infrastructure using Kubernetes, Kafka, Docker and more ensures resilience, scalability and zero-downtime upgrades.

A modern Health Data Utility

Orchestral’s solution is more than just a data platform, it meets the full definition of a Health Data Utility (HDU). It combines clinical, administrative, and social data from multiple sources; supports advanced analytics, governance and interoperability; and aligns with modern standards and security frameworks. It empowers health systems to become data-driven, outcomes-focused, and future-ready.
